 Our Charlie Brown Dog

Waddling around the house with his coat of brown;

Dancing on his back paws, he could pass for a clown.

Sneaking around our abode, acting naughtily

Then, he prances around the house quite haughtily.

Whenever my family goes on vacations,

The Brown Dog gets to stay with our kind relations.

We are all packed, and to Florida we have gone;

But Brown Dog won’t play on our white, snow covered lawn.

We sometimes forget that Charlie Brown is a dog,

But where food is concerned, he’s a terrible hog.

Even though he really is a little terror,

You see, when we got him, it was not an error.

We shipped Charlie Brown off to the Grandparents last Sunday. I got to give him a bath - lucky me.
