Studying can get quite wearisome (especially during these gray months)... so, when I need a little pick-me-up break, one of my favorite options it to watch a mini (ten minute) episode of Gidget. Lets hear it for Youtube!
Ever since I found this show it hasn't ceased to make me smile. Maybe it's the California sunshine, cute outfits/hair, or the corny humor - I don't know and I honestly don't care. Its just good fun to watch!
Gidget (with Sally Field) is adorable, and the show just makes me laugh with its classic 1960's dialogue. Of course, it's not the most modest show on the block (thumbs down for bikini beachwear), but I am fond of the overall wholesomeness the show portrays.
I found a picture of Sally Field as Gidget... and I just noticed that my new haircut resembles hers.
