It must be a special day...

It must be a special day because:

1. It actually looks (and feels) like December outside today.
2. I did not burn the grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch (I know, I know. It's amazing).
3. My youngest brother and I spent all morning coloring pictures for a special someone.
4. Josiah and I are also in the middle of baking a birthday cake for said "special someone". 

If that last clue didn't completely give it away, I don't know what will. However, I will tell you.
Today is my Dad's birthday!
I love him so much. Out of everyone I know, he deserves to have the best birthday ever. That is why Josiah and I have spent all morning baking, cooking, coloring, and wrapping. We made these gifts with all the love in our hearts. I think Josiah's card is the cutest (so far)... he scribbled something about "special time with Daddy, lemon loaf, and marshmallows"... written carefully in green colored pencil [of course].  I could not help it as my face broke out into a big old grin.
Even though I don't like to have the TV on during the day, I have decided, due to the special occasion, that Josiah and I would watch movies (Toy Story and Cars to be specific - he obviously got to pick) while we bake. I'm not sure if this is a wise decision... but since I'm babysitting, I figure it to be the fun decision.
Anyhow, I'm so blessed to have Brad Snavely as my father.
And Dad, if you are reading this, I love you SO much and I hope you have a happy birthday!
