Catching zzz's

Christmas break was great but...
Another week (like a certain college student I know *cough* Jon *cough*) would certainly have been appreciated.
Nevertheless, I am now back to the daily grind... and let me tell you, it was not the most welcomed event ever.
I generally like school... but I'm not exactly fond of the getting up early part.

Words cannot even describe how much I love to sleep-in... I was definitely spoiled over Christmas break... yea, lets go with that.

I have been getting to sleep at around 9pm - if you know me at all you'll know that this is an amazing thing. However, over break I slept in quite a lot. I do not know how, but the last couple days [before break ended] I slept in until around noon or a little past. I am also horrified that I feel like I could sleep more... it is neither my desire nor in my best interest to sleep the entire day away (I at least hope I'm growing taller or something - now that would be cool).
I'm not sure, but I probably could qualify for a bear if I applied... hibernation sounds like a brilliant idea.

Well, I guess I should have eased myself into getting up earlier, but I just could not bring myself to skip out on catching those extra z's.
As I was talking to my friend Stephanie, I was even more surprised to find that she felt the same way. tired. Keeping in mind that she is a very studious girl and doesn't usually sleep-in, I was comforted. At least I'm not abnormal or something...

Even so, I started school back up on Monday. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. For the most part I just finished up some homework, reviewed older material, and got ready for Tuesday.

Tuesday was great: my friends are lovely, my teachers were wonderful, and the homework load this week looks brilliant.
I am pretty much contented with life... that is, until around springtime.

I already knew this, but I have been blessed. And hey, its almost the weekend! Hooray!

hahahaha :) yeah today i forced myself to get up early because seriously, i have gotten 11 hours of sleep the past like THREE NIGHTS. I was actually starting to feel jittery throughout the day because of too much sleep. it was a little concerning.
i guess getting too much sleep is better than not getting enough, right? ... yeah, we'll go with that. :)

Hahaha. You're a funny one. Forcing yourself to get up early?!
Clearly, you are a stronger person than I.
