I'm actually blogging again. *Gasp!*
But in all seriousness, I have not completely abandoned my poor blog. I just took a much needed detox from the blogging world. And now I'm back! For how long, I'm not sure.
Anyway, today I got my braces off!
As a point of interest, my orthodontist has a big, metal gong on the lobby wall, which gets struck with a mallet periodically, whenever a client gets their braces off (well, they get the option to hit it. "Let Freedom Ring").
I absolutely hit that gong today. Resounding all throughout the building, it metaphorically echoed my excitement. Sheer elation, is more like it.
Nothing can tame this glorious feeling... or the all-engulfing smile on my face right now. Those three years were well worth the wait.
Yes, I'm still smiling. From ear to ear! Absolutely wonderful.
